An 8-year-old girl went to her grandfather, who was working
in the yard and asked him, “Grampa, what is couple sex?”
The grandfather was surprised that she would ask such a question, but decided that if she’s old enough to know to ask the question, then she’s old enough to get an honest answer.
Steeling himself to leave nothing out, he proceeded to tell her all about human reproduction and the joys and responsibilities of intercourse.
When he finished explaining, the little girl was looking at him with her mouth hanging open, eyes wide in amazement.
Seeing the look on her face, the grandfather asked her, “Why did you ask this question, honey?”
The little girl replied, “Grandma says that dinner will be ready in just a couple secs.”

LOL! I remember way back when I was a nursing student, one of my biology profs told a similar story. Her 4 year old asked her where he came from. Being all about biology, she explained reproduction to her 4 year old. When she finished, the boy said, “oh. Charlie comes from China.”
i would too. i always hesitated when my kids were little asking those questions. i would ask myself first, how much do they need to know but this took it one step further, and i never thought of the same words having different meanings for different ages. LOL

Funny yes.But insightful too. From here onward I think I will pause a bit to enter a child’s world before I answer any questions from them.

Apparently it does.If I now watch the movies I did as a child I notice the dynamics of adult relationships.I was blind to them as a child.
i think it is something we do not even think about most of the time, but it was an eye opener
