A bird I photographed and our cat, Rhino
6:00AM: the best hour of the day, or too close to your 3:00AM bedtime?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us DAWN.
Definitely mornings are my best. My sugars are down. I am sort of rested. I get up, put my slippers on, my house coat, scratch my leg, scratch my butt, and waddle into the bathroom where I plop myself on the toilet and smoke my first cigarette.
After looking at the face staring back at me I make my way to the kitchen where I pour myself my first cup of brew. Hot brew with cream, no sugar please. I check the cat food bowls over. Filling the food up, disposing the old, replacing with new water.
I check my time. Fifteen minutes before I get Al up. Scratch my butt one more time. Walk over to the window and look at the outdoor thermometer. Looking at the lower temperatures I shiver inside my clothing realizing summer is actually gone.
I take solace in the day. Sun is shining. Trees are partially covered, some are bare. Leaves covering once green grass. Aww, life is good, morning is new, then I waddle over to the computer, take a sip of coffee, light up another cigarette and get in those last few moments of checking out what my friends have to say.

Our 25 pound baby!!!!
This week, show us a photo of whatever you’d like, but make sure it’s saturated. It can be black and white, a single color, a few hues, or a complete rainbow riot; just make sure it’s rich and powerful. Let’s turn the comments into an instant mood-booster!

Are you comfortable in front of people, or does the idea of public speaking make you want to hide in the bathroom? Why?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us PUBLIC.
Wow, can you see inside my screen? I am comfy right now in my black socks. But oh wait, I am not naked. Whew, I thought you could see me.
Am I comfortable in front of people? It depends on the situation. If I am around people who make me place my wall up immediately before thinking about it, no, I am not comfortable.
I have been working for months on changing myself. Improving my own self image. I am trying to learn that I am entitled to my own opinions. I have always been afraid to say what I truly feel inside for fear of upsetting someone.
Now if I am trying to spread news of something I know to be good. Or maybe teaching something I know about, I will be the first one to volunteer to speak.
If someone ask me to talk about M.S.A. I would be asking, ” What time and day?”
I love to help others. I love people in general, but please, don’t try to get me to change who I am.
Don’t make me feel guilty because I don’t agree with you every time.
#post a day
This week, share what you see on the inside.
All you need to do is to create a post with pictures of your pets and link back here. You can post pictures of your pets or even your friends and families pets, or you can post pictures of animals that you have photographed such as wild life pictures. I have feeders in my front garden, and often birds will come and eat the fruit I have left for them – such pictures are also totally welcome. Basically, anything to do with animals will be perfect.
