This past week has been so wonderful for me. I have learned that I have a true friendship with many of you on here, and that I am able to remain myself and that I do not have to pretend to have happy days each day. Now, you are maybe wondering what has happened to this person we have learned to trust and read her stories. I just wanted to explain briefly the truth. Yesterday, I had so much to do and I had Al out quite a bit of the day. I did find some time to read some blogs, which have become very important to me. I don’t mean I am picking through, that did not sound right. I meant going down my emails I was able to read some. Last night, my family came down and we had built a bon fire and stayed out side talking until almost 1:30 am. The time just flew yesterday. I went to bed so late last night that I got up late, and haven’t had time to spend on the internet alone. When I awoke, my brother was getting up at the same time. My grandson’s birthday party is being held here today, so it is going to be another busy day. I have quickly drank only one cup of coffee, and I have to shower and wrap the birthday gift. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I am not ignoring anyone on purpose. Every free moment I have today, I will continue to keep reading. Things will get back to normal very quickly, and I will be able to push further catching up with comments and reading. I know I didn’t have to say a word. Some may not notice that I haven’t even made a remark, but to me, you are important, and I wanted to explain.
You mustn’t worry – I have gone through the same dilemma lately of not being able to keep up with the wonderful blogs and blogging friends I have made. You have enough to do without that kind of pressure and everyone understands. Just hit delete – it’s rather a nice button!

Because we probably be worried if you disappeared for a long period. So happy that you have some great time and no drama. You both are worth that.

It is definitely a challenge to keep up with the numerous amount of blogs and finding time for quality rather than quantity in terms of how much we can absorb, read, like, and comment effectively. Many times, it can definitely feel like a race horse, trying to keep up with the flurry of them. For me, I selected the option to no longer receive emails, and simply click on the big W on the corner > Reader > Blogs I Follow. It made it a lot more manageable for me, especially after clicking on ‘ignore all emails from WordPress’ under the manage blogs option linked from the email alert. It also makes it prettier too to hit like quickly, and read in a new tab, or for some that are just pics, are not necessary. It’s one way of quickly scanning, LIKEing, and than coming back to reading it when it is convenient. Especially as you’ll find some may need more time than others. Anyhow, no apologies needed! My blog is really for an audience of me I think, to just get it out. It definitely does help to have readers boost me up with their comments, but at the end of the day, I believe we actually writer with ourselves in mind. 😀

Terry, life happens to all of us. It is important that we remain connected to those in our lives physically, family and friends. We know you are busy and don’t take offense when you don’t get to visit our blogs. You deserve the time to enjoy things like just spending time with family, celebrating birthdays, and even things as simple as taking a walk or reading a book. We all do, this is where our soul is laid bare, so that we can enjoy those things even more. Now go on, and enjoy yourself! I pray that God blesses your day with relaxation and pure joy!

I have been having a difficult time trying to keep up with my e-mail this week, so I understand what you feel. I try to read most posts even if I’m a couple of days behind time, but don’t always have enough time to craft a response and sometimes I feel guilty. Grandsons and birthday parties are very important. And bonfires are fun when shared with those we love. Just enjoy the moment and don’t worry about anything.
