Too Emotional

I don’t know what I would do without any of you, I really don’t. Now I am in the biggest emotional roller coaster of my life, and believe me there are tears this time. I can not stop

them. I have had bad news and more bad news on top, pertaining to Al, and I just can not speak of right now. Please be understanding with why I have not blogged since yesterday. Please be patient with me, and hopefully I will be back to a more normal person tomorrow, able to speak of what is happening.

I love you all, and would give anything if any of you were here with me.

Talk to you soon.

  1. Hi Terry, I wish I knew of something I could say to help comfort you in your hour of need but I know there is nothing. Please just know that we are all there to support you – we are all there for you. i’m sending all my love, hugs and as much healing as I can to both you and AL … nothing wrong in letting the tears flow – it;s stronger in the long run to let it out than to bottle it up. Not sure that made sense but I think you know what I mean. I hope you don’t mind but yesterday I lit a candle for both you and AL.

On a different note, can I please tell you what a wonderful writer you are? I’m following your NaNo story – I’m also on NaNo – and am VERY impressed with your story. Good luck with everything – I’m thinking of you.

    • that is such a wonderful comment. a lit candle for us, that is so nice. i can’t seem to get the tears to stop for too long of time, but hopefully soon. feel free to add me to your NaNo as a buddy if you like. thank u for the compliment

  2. Take a deep breath. And another. and another. Take baby steps. One foot in front of the other. I know it doesn’t seem like it, but things WILL get better.
You obviously have a lot of people who love and care for you. Take some strength in that.
    Be gentle with yourself.

  3. We understand. Know that we love you and care about you. We are in your corner, and you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Life can really suck some days, but God is still there and so are we. <>

  4. When I’m facing a crisis, I always find comfort in this song:
    “Praise You In This Storm”
    by Casting Crowns:

I was sure by now, God
    You would have reached down
    And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say “Amen”,
    And it’s still raining.

    As the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
    “I’m with You”.
    And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
The God who gives and takes away.

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
    You heard my cry.
    You raised me up again.
    Every tear I’ve cried
    You hold in Your hand.
    You’ve never left my side.

So I’ll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
    No matter where I am
And although my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm.

  5. Oh Dear Terry,
Wish I could be there to give you a hug and hold your hand. Or at the least, make a hot beverage for both of us. 🙂 I’m praying for you and Al, Terry, and I admire how you are able to cry – I always can cry for others or in movies, but never for myself. So don’t try to shut down the waterworks too soon – they are healing. 🙂 And it’s okay to not write until you’re ready – we will always wait for you. Take good care of yourself, ok? Love from Minnesota.

  6. I think of you every day…and wish there could be an easier way for you to cope with your and Al’s situation…I’m sure you feel quite alone sometimes…
The trials we have sometimes seem so unbearable…but, we have to just get through them…I hope that your family and friends that are near can be of some comfort…You know WE all care!…love, mkg

  7. I’m a little late as I’ve been on an ‘away from it all’ break with hubby, but I am reading ‘backwards’ as clearly something has happened that I am not up to speed with yet.

Take care, you are in my heart and I will comment as soon as I am up to date.
