I wonder what my brother sees
Don’t we all wonder too
Is he seeing the colors of gold
And the cross worn for me and you?
So many have questioned heaven
They need proof it really exist
But how can you say this
When Al says it is there, he insist.
We writers can put it on paper
Our imaginations exist
But what about the hand
That Al saw through the fog and mist?
He says he has spoken to her
He says she answers him too
Could he make up such a story
And risk heaven and a chance to lose?
Why must we see before we believe
Why can’t we just carry some faith
Doesn’t what he says hold truth
Especially in this case?
We shall have our time
When we will have the chance to see
And if you decide to visit
You will see my brother and me.

thank you Sheri. When Al was released from the Hospice house, we had three good days and then the medicine quit working. Now back to square one with emotions

I love this Terry. It is very insightful (whoops – nearly put inciteful 😆 )
I think that heaven is inside us. It is what we feel and what we want to see. Each person has their own heaven, Asgaard, Valhalla etc. As a result of this, we see things that our inner self believes. So I think Al does see these things, because it is what he feels inside him

I love your explanation. Heaven is indeed insightful, inciteful, lol. We each have our own definitions just as we do on God, heaven, hell, and so many things we hear about in life. I am glad you liked this my friend

Terry, this is so beautiful! Can’t tell you how many times I have wondered why people insist on ‘seeing’ rather than believing! Thank you for sharing!

you are very welcome. People have to have proof of everything it seems. We are not to know all. We are to trust in what we can’t see when it comes to God. Trust is a small word with a bountiful meaning. hugs my friend
