I don’t like being scared. There is indeed a certain rush that goes along with the feeling, but the thoughts and paranoia that lingers with me afterwards is not worth it. I have Schizophrenia and scary things manifest in a real way I can’t quite describe and it is not pleasant. I prefer to stick to comedies, who-dun its, fantasy like Chronicles of Narnia, inspirational stories, and the like.

For you I understand very well. Putting yourself in a situation that will harm you in any way is definitely not a good idea. Romance, humor, documentary seems more appropriate! hugs my friend

Thank you! I have many in my life that get a thrill from horror movies, haunted houses, scary books, etcetera and I don’t think any less of them for their tastes. I do appreciate the respect from them for how I feel about such things. 🙂
