We are never too old to Trick or ????

My dear friend Marilyn put out an awesome post about age and trick or treating

MKG- Memories-Keepsakes-Gifts

You know you are too old to
Trick or Treat when

10. You keep knocking on your own front door.

9. You remove your false teeth to…

change your appearance.

8. You ask for soft high fiber candy only…

7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag…
and you lose your balance and fall over.

6. People say: ‘Great Boris Karloff Mask,’
and you’re not wearing a mask.

5. When the door opens you
yell, ‘Trick or…’
and you can’t remember the rest.

The Looking Glass of M.S.A.

My Heart Will Go On

For years I have been

Building memories

Of your face as you

Walk through bumpy paths

Of pain, sorrow, and laughter

For years I have stood by your side

Wiped a tear, brushed your hair

Our hearts shared the pain

Of what this terrible disease has done

We watched it take a way your step

Stripped you of your pride

Made you beg for more pain medicine

I have heard you cry at nights

Begging God to take you home

I have wept in my own pool

Al, I will always remember

The man you were

The man you are today

And when these chapters are closed

Know that you are alive in my memories

And that my heart will always go on

Helping to fight until the battle is o’er

And M.S.A. fades

Quietly into memories.

Strangers In The Night

We met as strangers

I was sitting at the bar

He walked in and tipped his hat

We left together

He made love to me all night long

In the morning I awoke and he was gone

Was I dreaming, I rubbed my eyes

Or was this a stranger in the night.
