AL

Just a brief note to let you know Al is worse. The nurse stated this morning we are down to hours. Food and drink have been taken a way for the most part because he doesn’t swallow anymore, or  most of the time.

I am still battling my own stress and between nurses being here after hours, everything seems out of control. How much longer he will fight to hold on is God’s answer. We are having issues with his illness leaking out of his body. The whole thing is just so ugly.

I will stay in touch. I miss you all.rhino

  1. Father, arise and show Yourself strong on Terry’s behalf and Al’s as well. You alone know how they have suffered, Lord, and I ask that You would comfort them in their pain. Father, save them and deliver Al from this body of torment and pain. I also ask You to set Terry free from the torment that she has suffered, watching her brother’s pain. Father, let Al’s passing be peaceful and joyful, as he passes from this earth into Your loving arms, and I ask You to comfort Terry. Let her know Your love, Your mercy and Your comfort and compassion, as Al makes his way home to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

  2. Terry have you told him you will be okay? You have to give him permission to die. We tell the family of our Hospice patients to tell their dying loved one that they love him, forgive him and ask him for forgiveness…we all hurt one another somewhere down the line and the dying may cling to an unhappy incident….tell Al you love him, that you forgive him and ask him to forgive you. He can still hear you. Hugs and strength

  3. Sending love and cyber hugs praying his final journey in this realm is swift and peaceful for both of you, you must take comfort knowing you made it possible for him to be at home surrounded by his own comforts rather than in a sterile hospital room surrounded by machines xxxxx

  4. Terry, I know keep telling that I think of you every day and keep you in my prayers, but I truly do and hope that it brings you the strength you need and comfort in your heart to know we are all here for you – if not in person then most certainly in Gods love. {{hugs}}

  5. Hi Terry. It’s time to let Al know, that he can go home. Let him know how much you love him, but also let him know about the beautiful place he will be entering into. He will finally see Jesus, and his loved ones. I’m praying that God will give you renewed strength, and comfort. Pleas keep us posted. You are not alone. Blessings.

  6. Sorry to hear Al has deteriorated so much, Terry.
    It must be very heart-breaking to see this, but know that he is in good hands and I’m sure he will be at peace and being kept comfortable and not suffering.
