Teresa, What Does it Say to You?

I have actually been crabby because I couldn’t blog, or I should say I told myself no, don’t do it. Leave them alone for just a bit, but alas, I failed in that area. I need to blog. I love writing. I love my friends.

I have had several comments that helped me decide not to entirely give up my blogging. I will try harder to not post so much about Al though.

Some of my comments were:

Kath Jean RennieIn my thoughts…It will be a yr since mam passed, this Sunday…and it can still hit like a rock……You keep on writing, but as me with my artwork, sometimes they can be escapisim, when really time out to feel the impact and grieve is best

Janiece Naber MartindaleI will always your writings, I use it for inspiration to keep me going in my MSA journey with my husband

We are friends forever and don’t you ever forget that. Take care of yourself and by all means keep in touch. You are a real sweetheart and definitely a “keeper”.

I get every post via email and I read every single one of them. There’s absolutely nothing wrong in expressing how you feel. Your writings don’t bore me for one. It only tells me what you’re going through. I also kind of think that your writing is quite therapeutic for you in that it gives you some form of release. A problem shared is half-solved don’t they say? Please, do what you have to do and take very good care of your self always. Hugs.

These are a few comments I have read from Facebook and WP. I am just too much of a worry wort. Afraid I will lose my wonderful friends by talking about Al too much, but I have gained new insight and you have given me confidence to keep going. Thank-you.

So just to make this post short and sweet, I will end it with the view I got right before dusk tonight.

You All Were Here For Me

You All Were Here For Me

It has been since March 24th since my brother passed. All of you have been so kind to me during this healing time. When I look at the date it seems I should be much farther along.

I cling to your remarks, such as it takes time, don’t rush it, it is part of the grieving process. They help me so much. But I am getting tired of only feeling like I think of Al mainly.

My dad used to say, you are…

I Was a Lucky Mom

I Was a Lucky Mom

Today is still Mother’s Day. I woke up to my son wishing me a good day over Facebook and then by phone. A few hours later my daughter called from out of state. My last son and his family came down. He smoked pulled pork and it was the best stuff ever. Along with it there was macaroni salad, potato salad, cole slaw, pumpkin bars, and white cake with nice, gooey icing.

After that delicious meal was…
