Looking for Editor and Publisher
The book I wrote about my brother Al is one of the most important projects I have done recently. Although I am very proud of Dahlia, my first book, this book is way up on the ladder.
MSA was and remains the most wicked illness I have ever run into in my 23 years of being in the medical field. I went through many emotions along with the terror and pain of watching my brother slip a way from me.

I just finished watching an inspiring TV program. After Al’s death, I geared my eyes towards more programming that is inspirational. It helps keep me uplifted. I was watching the show The Waltons.
The episode I watched today was about racism. A little boy who was colored played the trumpet magnificently. When Josh, the one on the left in above photo invited him to play at a ladies tea party, it…

I wrote this book called, Al, his life and MSA, not to brag to show I could write another book. I didn’t write it for popularity votes. I wrote it for a teaching tool. There are so many questions and no answers. There is research but, but research takes dollars, so it doesn’t help a whole hell of a lot when very few even recognize the words, Multiple System Atrophy.
Ever changing circumstances, day-to-day, sometimes hour to hour. Various side-effects unlike any cancer.
My goal is to have a publisher do his thing with my 31 chapters. I self-published my first book, along with my dear friend Diane. It has sold but I want this book to be in doctor’s offices, medical centers, neurologist’s hands.
I know I am dreaming big, but why not? What do I have to lose by following this dream? A book that sits on my own shelf collecting dust when it could be in the hands of a family or caregiver’s hands.
Please, help me along with my prayers to locate a publisher who has compassion, heart and an inner soul who wants to help spread the word of one caregiver, a sister and the journey of MSA.
I may want to add a special note here for the sake of others. I have not located a job as of yet, so I can’t afford to pay hundreds of dollars to get this published, but I will do my very best at doing what I can to help get this out. Thank-you. Please, please share this with someone you know who may have some personal contact or interest in my goal.

I just finished watching an inspiring TV program. After Al’s death, I geared my eyes towards more programming that is inspirational. It helps keep me uplifted. I was watching the show The Waltons.
The episode I watched today was about racism. A little boy who was colored played the trumpet magnificently. When Josh, the one on the left in above photo invited him to play at a ladies tea party, it was beautiful to most, but not to the white higher class society in this show.
Although they couldn’t come out and say he didn’t play grand, of course that would have been a lie, they let Josh know that the little colored boy could not be allowed in their building.
When the story was drawn out to its hour, it showed how difficult it is to be accepted and in the end he was accepted and praised highly for his natural talent. These type shows always cause a couple of tears to flow from my eyes, but I love them. Happy endings is what I like and I think most of us crave in our own lives.
Yesterday it was announced here in my state of Indiana, that gays have the right to marry. I have my own personal views on the topic but have not written down in the comment section as of yet.
Should I write down my own opinion? Should I start judging others? Do I have the right to voice my thoughts? Or should I let our almighty God handle this.
I don’t know if there is a fear of blacks and whites being placed together, or the fear is from not understanding that we are all created equal in God’s eyes, there are just different colors of skins. Somewhere through the years we, the people, have divided ourselves into different classes. There are the rich, the middle class and the poor.
With homosexuality can we look at it in the same light as being white or black? I am not sure. A lot of it depends on how we were raised as children. It seems that most of what we represent today as adults stems from our upbringing.
Were our parents prejudiced? Did they make their voices known throughout the home? Were we brought up in church or not? Did something happen to us in our adulthood that caused us to believe one way or another?
All I know is I have read many, many comments on my Facebook page and it is sad that a bigger percent than not are hateful comments, judging comments, name calling, and a show that caring is not a concern. It is more about thy own opinion is all that matter in these remarks.
Are we supposed to stand up and be shown for who we are inside? Or are we to keep our thoughts to ourselves in order to keep the peace. I guess if Jesus didn’t keep moving forward and he hid behind a rock, in fear of what others would think of him, life would not give us our choices for today.
Would we take risk of being stoned today as in the days of when the Lord walked the face of this earth, just so people can know where we stand in our own personal lives?
For me, I can say that I believe my job here on earth is to try to love thy neighbor as myself. I am to spread the word of Christ by being a good example of what God placed me here for.
I am not to judge, but to pray for all. I think the devil is probably sitting back having a good laugh at what has happened. He has brought forth the wicked in the tongues. He is helping to do and act exactly has Jesus has taught us not to.
I think it is sad that there is so much destruction in our world today. One religion fighting over another person’s beliefs. Believing we have a right to take another person’s life because in my thought, the only one who has the right to take a life is God.
We as a person come together and form what is called a state, a country, and a universe. We are to be smart enough to get along with each other. We are to put our armour on each morning and walk on the path of God.
What scares me is what is going to happen? How much more turmoil can our planet take before peace comes once again? I rarely watch the news anymore. Very little is positive. Negativity is what sells our or newscasters and newspapers would be out of work.
If I want to try to keep strong and live a life that is good, than I must stay away from the negative. I have a few friends and I choose them wisely. Not to gain in popularity, but for what they believe in. I have not once heard from any of my friends boasting or judging others. This is very important to me.
So, in conclusion I realize that what God thinks of me is very important to me. I choose to walk this path I am treading in life. I may not be well-known or popular in society, but I know God loves me for continually trying to follow his commandments. Blessings and hugs to all of my friends and family.
