THE GRASPING GAME

THE GRASPING GAME

Where did you go

You were here

Now nowhere

Come on

I hear you

Or do I hear

Your old voice

Do I see

Your face

Or is my

Memories over-drive

Come back I say

Turn and

Look at me

Don’t play games

I see you

Walking to

Your room

You can’t fool me

I see you

Standing there

Tears fall

Down my cheeks

As I reach

Out for you

And feel ice.
