DREAMS

 

What did you dream of

When you were just a tot

Did you dream of being

A fireman or a model oh so hot

 

Did you lay in bed at nap time

And count the sheep go by

Or did you play so hard

And soar up to the sky

 

Were you read books

By your mom and dad

Did you have a list or

Did you give them all you had

 

Did you run and ride your bike

Did you play the whole day long

Were you mommy’s little princess

Or daddy’s man so strong

 

Being a kid is awesome

So innocent and sincere

I don’t know why I wished for

To grow up and live with tears.
