I DON’T KNOW

I want to go back

I don’t want to be here

Way back, to a time

I didn’t know

I didn’t understand

A time where thoughts

Were which doll to play with

What time is supper

When is Daddy coming home

I don’t like it now

I can’t deal with more life

I have fought for all

I have done but I am

Falling down and I

Can’t seem to stand up

No way out

No answers to share

No advice to give

I am now going to sit

And watch my dreams

Fall behind and wait

Wait for what, I don’t know.
