Place that smile on your face

Look happy to the entire race

Leave those tears behind

Relax and do unwind

Laugh as you’ve  never laughed

Tell jokes on their behalf

When once you are at home

And you are all alone

You can place that mask

And do your daily task

You can feel the way you choose

To be happy or too blue

But maybe it’s not a choice

Maybe there is a voice

From a distance far away

Who wants you to come and play

Snap out of it get it together

Look outside and see the weather

This too shall one day subside

And the gates will open wide

Your sight will be so clear

Washing away of all your fears

Just give it a little time

And one day you shall shine
