One

ONE

One is a lonely number

You ever met him before?

The man in the black hood

Sneaking all round your nights

Sucking out your breath

Shrinking your soul from within

A shadow you will become

The thrill of life will halt

Bringing you to a new level

Through time you will recognize

That you don’t want to be here

You’ll turn and make a change

You’ll run with all your power

Leaving him to fight

Like there is no tomorrow.

CAN’T GO BACK

CAN’T GO BACK

Long a time ago

When I was young

Didn’t know that much

Just out having fun

Trying out new stuff

Meeting new peeps

Touching on feelings

I ain’t never felt before

Then time moved on

And I grew up a little

Days of flying

Were put to sleep

Now time catches

Up with me

And I look straight ahead

Don’t like the future

Too short ahead

I grab my guitar

And I sit down for a spell

Gonna go back

To once upon a time

When  time was free

And life was long

I sit here strumming

And I smile

Remembering all I did

And places I had gone

Can’t go back

Won’t go forward

Guess I’ll sit here

Only til tomorrow.

So Mama I’m Coming Home

SO MAMA I’M COMING HOME

Been away, way too long

Keep singing that same old song

Walking cross the sandy beach

Meeting new friends I plan to keep

Quiet nights gazing at the stars

Wondering how the years gone far

Hard to believe I missed the spot

Realizing this is all I got

Better get myself on track

Hitching a train and running back

Don’t wanna ever be alone

So mama I’m coming home.

Dream of Tomorrow

DREAM OF TOMORROW

I HAVE A DREAM

A DREAM OF TOMORROW

WHERE SMILES REPLACE SORROW

WHERE FEELINGS OF PEACE FROM WITHIN

TAKE OVER THIS FEELING I’VE BEEN IN

I HAVE A SONG

A SONG FILLED WITH HOPE

WHERE I CAN ONCE AGAIN COPE

WHEN MY SHOULDERS FEEL LIGHT

AND THE SUN SEEMS SO BRIGHT

I HAVE A DREAM

A DREAM OF TOMORROW
