DOWN THE ROAD I KNOW

 

What was promised yesterday

No guarantees for today

Words, thoughts scrambled

In my mind, so hybrid

How do we accept

Changes with depth

Shifting our minds

Knowing we run different lines

Throw a blanket on the ground

Look at clouds all around

Tears escape our eyes

As we face the surprise

We come to know

We’ll travel down and go

We will give with all our might

We won’t give up on this big fight.
