Early Mornings

Standing outside this morning is one of my best moments of the entire day. Cars are barely heard. It is the beginning of a new day. The Spring birds are here. With the absence of new leaves on the trees, I can see the birds quite clear as they spring from tree branch to branch.

There is a hush all over the land, as the song goes. It is a time to give thanks for waking up. A new opportunity to be kind to others, to help someone in need. It is the best time of day.
