WHY AND WHY
Why do great men
Court their ladies
Then after the marriage
Courting becomes quite shady.
Why is romance
Like red roses in bloom
The first year together
The other years in gloom.
Why do we pretend
To be someone we’re not
Sooner or later
We’ll surely get caught .
Now that I’m older
I’ll show who I am
And if I catch your eye
I’ve landed a hell of a man.
