Thus, The Winds Do Change
Where are you going
My little friends?
You’re leaving
This I know.
You kept me from
Being sad and lonely
You gave me more
To think about other than myself.
When all was quiet
You filled my space
With art; which I
Have grown accustomed to.
Watching your family
Glide through God’s open spaces
Has made life worth living.
Thank-you for accompioning me
Throughout my final days.
Now fly south my friends
I hope to see you in the Spring.
