We Are Blessed
We Are Blessed
When your feet touch the floor
And you’re wishing you had more
Remember those we’ve lost
Their pain; a very high cost
The battles in our lands
It’s really not so grand
The fires everywhere
People in despair
Attacks on human life
Kidnappings of a wife
Children with no Christmas lights
Their eyes so full of fright
Get on your knees today
Give thanks then pray and pray.

And now I am his wife.
