Doctor appointment today
A place where he gets his way
Tells me all I should do
Sometimes makes me go boo-hoo
I tell him I do the best I can
His look can say exactly when?
This illness causes me weight gain
My gut reminds me of a slow train
i tell him I walk as far as can be
But then I end up on bended knee
I will take a way his good advice
I will gather my thoughts like little mice
I will tell myself I will do better now
And then my illness will have a cow
So what can I say
On this hot, humid day
I will give it my all
And humpty dumpty not fall.
