THE WORDS FROM AN ABUSED CHILD

I insist that you listen to me

I insist you say please.

I insist that your grades be A’s

I insist you behave every day.

I insist you be home every night

I insist I tuck you in bed just right.

I insist you don’t say a word

I insist my feelings be transferred.

I insist that you leave me alone!

I insist that your hands do not roam!

I insist words will come from my lips!

I insist I will shoot you and not miss!

You are a kid with no power to spare

I will do as I wish everywhere.

Bang! You are dead.

CHILD ABUSE IS WRONG. IF YOU ARE BEING ABUSED; TELL SOMEONE, ANYONE. THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT. DON’T MAKE IT YOUR FAULT.
