Is Anyone Feeling This

Is anyone feeling this?

Exhausted; mind and soul
Fighting to keep atop
People trying to drown you
Cruel and hateful words.

Go to bed and pray
A better day tomorrow
Calm and peace
Living among thy self.

Throw that garbage aside
Place it out of view
Only the glue sticks to you
And you can’t release.

Can’t stutter the words
Of broken pieces
Shreds of glass
Pierce the soul within.

So tired; try so hard
But they don’t understand
With saying the right words
Still dealing with a bad hand.

Is anyone feeling this?
Try to throw it away
Glue sticks to you
Only to bring grief one more day.
