A piece of sun in my cloudy day

A cloudy day or a little sunshine have as great an influence on many constitutions as the most recent blessings or misfortunes.Joseph Addison

My day was gray or calm and nothing much was happening. I stayed home today because I had another inspection on my apartment, which is every three months. It passed, I think. Nothing was said and they left and went to the next place.

My cat, Riley, stayed close by all day. He and I napped together too. I watched TV and talked to my son for awhile. It was late afternoon and I received a phone call from a friend. I was told that her mother had read one of my books I wrote and that she really enjoyed it and even asked if I had anymore.

Now that just made me smile. It was a little sun on a cloudy day. I wrote this book a few years back and haven’t paid much attention to it lately. I need a program for Microsoft Office. I used to have one but there isn’t one on this computer and the price of it isn’t cheap. I have another book I had been writing with about twenty-two chapters written. Hopefully, some day, I will be able to complete it.

Have you read the book I am speaking about? It’s called Dahlia and you can find it on Amazon.

  1. Nice post! I will check out the book too 🙂
I’m glad you are finding ways to feel blessed. We are in the midst of a snow storm here, and it is beautiful. This weather causes people to slow down their hectic lives and appreciate life.

    God bless you Terry ❤️

  2. We had a sunny day here today with temperature still nearly 40′ at 7:00 tonight. But I heard we are supposed to get snow though I don’t know when. It seems to be raining right now. Well, at least you don’t have to shovel that or plow through it. I’ll be glad when spring comes. Glad to see you promoting your book. It’s a good story and I hope you will sell more again.
