I usually take them down before I have to go back to work… usually 3rd of January, as I then don’t have so much time anymore. In Germany we leave it to 6th January (3 Kings Bank holiday) then it comes down. That is what my mum always said never leave it longer than the 6th.
I leave most of my decorations down Jan. 2nd. I leave two small trees up for awhile because my daughter usually comes after Christmas. I leave one of those trees up all year because my son bought it for me.
