Hello my friends,

It’s been a long year hasn’t it and seemed like a longer winter. I didn’t go much of anywhere this winter due to falls on ice and Covid. We are supposed to be getting better here in Indiana with Covid. The mask wearing will disappear for the most April sixth but I will be wearing mine in areas where a number of people would be, such as Wal-Mart. I am still leery of this virus.

The mask aren’t comfortable to me but it keeps me safer. There are so many comments on my Facebook page about Covid-19 on whether it is real or not and how far the government is pushing people instead of letting people make some of their own choices. I am referring to schools, gatherings, work and etc.

For me, I do not work so none of this affects me. The only time I am affected is when I put myself out there at the grocery store or spend time with those I love but I take precautions and I refuse to live within these four walls and never see my loved ones. God knows the date and time I am going to die and nothing will change that here on earth, but yet, I do what I need to do to protect me and others.

I don’t know about you but I have heard the saying since I was a child and I still believe and keep mental track of it as an adult. The saying here in Indiana is, “Whatever it does on Easter Sunday, it will do for the next seven Sundays.” Thankfully, this year with Easter being early, for my area, it is to be rain-free and sunny and seventy degrees. Wonderful weather in my view. I love weather between seventy and eighty. Any colder or hotter and I feel miserable. Spring and Fall are my favorite times of the year. Which seasons are yours?

I remember as a young girl, my mother would dress me up in a fancy dress, white anklets, white patent leather shoes and white gloves. I guess I didn’t mind. I don’t remember feeling upset about it. Mom and Grandmas would take all those photos. I think that was the worst part for me. I wanted to change clothes after Sunday school and go outdoors and play with my cousins. Did you dress up for Easter? Share some of your Easter memories with me.
