My heart. I had someone ask how many times I have moved in my life, and the truthful answer is 48 times, with three periods of homelessness, once on the streets of Milwaukee (in winter). So I haven’t been able to keep “things” for very long. Even my children grew up and turned into grown ups with independent lives – and that’s not a true loss at all.
I have a Bible since my young married years, but that never goes into a closet. 🙂
