I am definitely entitled to have arthritis at my age. Sometimes such as today, it hurts and has a nice knot sticking out. I have to make choices on these days as to baby the pain or get through it.
Today, I got through it. It still aches but I did manage to pull some weeds, trim a shrub and sweep the porch. Although it hurts my fingers and wrist, I received joy from my work.
Go away, thorns of pain
I don’t want you here today
I’ll ignore you the best I can
And show you I’m the stronger man
You’ve thrown some curve balls my way
But today, I missed them and enjoyed my day.

I know it’s difficult, but that is by far the best attitude to get you through those kinds of days. God bless.
