Inner Peace Award
Summer has introduced me to this beautiful peaceful award.
Summer is all about love and peace among each other. A very sweet lady, for sure. Please visit her at the link I provided.
In Summer’s words this is her introduction about herself.
The hands are there for friendship..
The heart is there for love..
There are no rules actually for this. But how could I not spread this to all I can. Place it on your page and feel the peace when you see it.
Billie has nominated me for this Best Moment Award. Thank-you and big hugs Billie for thinking of me during your nomination process.
I have accepted this award before so instead of going on and saying repetitive things about myself, I will say the rules and nominate. I will also give you little pieces of me through photos that I take, and show you some of the awards I have received.
Thanks to all for the love and support you have given to me through this past year.
There are two simple rules for this;
My nominations are;
I know I don’t usually post this late at night. My ears and eyes are on the news and then Joyce Meyers. I just finished up watching Joyce and thought I would check for the last time responses I wanted to reply to before going to bed. I really don’t want to turn into a pumpkin.
I just had to share my joy with you that helped me to earn this.

Thank-you so much Elaine.
Here is a tiny peek at who Elaine is. Make sure you go visit her, especially if you like jewelry.
I live near Cambridge in England and only started blogging to support someone else. I love it, I don’t know why, perhaps I can share that with you when I work it out. Perhaps (more likely) you can tell me?
I live with my husband and three children. (One joined the family by stealth.) The girls are at University now, but you can tell they still live here by the amount of ‘stuff’ left lying around.
I work in a library, which I love and my hobby is making jewellery – maybe I’ll post pictures sometime – especially beaded necklaces and especially working with crystals. I love anything sparkly.
Thanks again Elaine!
I have just received the news that I was awarded two more awards from The Prodigal Daughter
Here is a slice of who the Prodigal Daughter is
We all are lost and wastefully extravagant. We demand of our Father the nicest of all things to be given us…getting ahead of the One who knows best.
In our stupor we stumble and go hungry but just when we thought we lost everything, our Heavenly Father remains faithful…and waiting.
How many times have we failed? How many times have we sinned? How many times have we returned back home to a delightful Father waiting with open arms? God isn’t counting. He delights to see us . All it takes is a sincere repentance and we’re accepted in His family once again.
Our Father celebrates our return over and over and over again. We are redeemed and prodigal no more.
Here are the rules of the award:
1 . Display the award logo on your blog.
2. Thanks and link back to the person who nominated you.
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 7-15 bloggers for this award.
5. Notify those bloggers of the nomination by linking to one of their specific posts so that they get notified by ping back.

Today’s Verse for 01/06/2013
Do you sing in the shower? What words are on your lips? Singing is such a wonderful gift! First, it is a gift from God to us, to help us express our joy, excitement, sorrow, and victory. Second, it is a gift from us to God, to help us communicate our respect, appreciation, love, and confidence in God. So let’s sing, praising God for what he has done, proclaiming what he will do, and sharing what he is currently doing in our lives!
O God, Father in heaven, even your name is holy. Please exert your will over my heart, and the hearts of those in our world, so it more closely reflects your holy character. I trust you, dear LORD, for the food I need each day. I ask you, Holy Father, to forgive me as I release my bitterness and anger which I have held against those who have wounded me. Empower me, O God, to resist the temptations and deceptions of the Evil One. Please make my life a glorious witness to your grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Thank-You so Much!
Lori has nominated me for the Blog of the Year 2012 Award. Whether it is the first or the last, I feel so special being nominated.
Lori is a fairly new follower and she is such an awesome woman. She is very involved within her church. Here is a slice of who she is.
Lori Schulz has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from Grace University where she was given the Delta Epsilon Chi award. She has been involved in children’s ministry for several years. Her involvement has included leading children’s worship, leading a Sparks group for AWANA, leading a children’s choir, teaching Sunday school, and leading a Good News Club. She has been heard speaking at a fundraiser banquet, Good News Club training seminars, Christian elementary school chapels, and on her local Christian talk radio station. She is also the author of the children’s book, “Papa’s Plan for Buddy Bee.” Besides ministering to children, Lori enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have three children.
Here is a slice of who Melissa is;
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours.” – Henry David Thoreau
My name is Melissa. I’m a baking enthusiast and amateur chef with latin roots from Long Island, New York. While I’ve always had this love for the kitchen, it has taken me a few years to realize that the only way I’ll be satisfied with life is by waking up everyday to bake; to make myself happy by making others happy. And thus this blog was born, to record my journey. I enjoy baking everything from cupcakes to alfajores and dream of owning a pastry shop one day. This is my long and bumpy road to that hopeful end.
It won’t be easy, but with just enough sugar, life is sweet.
1. If you could change one thing, what would you change? The love of sweets. I love sugar. I can stay away from sweets for so long. It amazes me though when I take one bite of a warm chocolate chip cookie, that I can not eat just one.
2. If you could repeat an age, what would it be? 19, when my first child was born. I looked into those big blue eyes and wrapped tiny fingers around mine, and I fell in love
3. What is one thing that really scares you? dying alone, with no one around. My nightmare is that I will die and no one will find me for days.
4. What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you’ll be able to complete it? Publishing a book. I hope that before I pass on to another life, I see one book with my name on it on a bookshelf somewhere
5. If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be? Twiggy, I just want to know for one day what it is like to be thin.
