Insects in Winter

The mail lady stopped by and when I was finished speaking to her I noticed this bee on the window. I thought about back home and how I would never see a bee in the winter up in Indiana.

I smiled as I realized not all insects rest in the Kentucky winters, and this little one is just waiting to come inside to get in my way!

Tribute to the Day of MSA

I went outside to leave and as soon as I opened my door I saw this little cutie. Next, I looked up and saw this. Lastly, I want to introduce you to my second published book. It is available at Create Space or Amazon.

THE YOUNGEST I WILL EVER BE

THE YOUNGEST I WILL EVER BE

Today I am

The youngest

I will ever be

Another minute

Hour gone

Dusk sits in

Replacing light

Softness fall

All around

And I listen

To the quiet

And I ponder

On tomorrow

Wondering what

Is in store

As I look forward

To being the youngest

One more time.

Community Dinner in Warsaw, Indiana

Tonight I went to the Center Lake Pavilion to a Community Dinner. It was very nice. The theme for the meal was from the Golden Coral.

There was a nice crowd present. Adults and children. Although it was raining and chilly, the laughter and chatter coming from within didn’t spoil the evening.

The meal consisted of Pulled Pork on buns, along with green beans with ham, a wonderful dinner roll with honey butter, your choice of peach or apple cobbler. For drinks we were offered water, coffee or lemonade.

The time went by quickly and before we knew it; it was time to call it an evening. What a wonderful way to get together to share a meal and company. Of course I couldn’t be there without taking a few photos to share with you, my friends.
