My Afternoon in The Woods

Today I saw a  helicopter landing at the hospital so I got a photo of that. Later I saw a hot air balloon. So I put together a little magic on those two items. Then I saw my grandson over at the park. As I went to talk to him I passed a couple of tree trunks.

What a fun late afternoon I had.

Through My Lens

I guess God had a part to play in my late afternoon and evening yesterday. I was hyped and stressed at the same time most of the day. Professionals are not returning my phone calls. I just hate it when you wait and wait for a returned call and it never happens.

My son and his family popped up here and invited me to take my first walk of the Spring at the boardwalk. I jumped at the chance. Time to get a way from these four walls. A  chance to let my mind rest and enjoy one of my loves in life,  photography. I know I am not any good at it, but I find many tiny miracles of life through my lens. I thought I would share what I saw with you. You will see budding trees, a beaver’s nest, nature and my little buddy boy who brings me laughter when I am sad.

I Believe

I know that I have Jesus living with me, and I also know that I don’t understand many things about life. I realize I am a simple-minded person, but I believe, and to me, this is what matters most. I don’t understand the whole idea of why others and my brother suffer, I don’t understand the reasons behind it, but I believe.

Here are some photos to help someone questioning if God is here among us. I hope you enjoy.

Trying Out My New Camera

Tonight I was fortunate enough to get to go another walk. Al is not feeling too well, as you can see by his photo. His ankles are hurting full-time now. The muscles are getting weaker, causing him pain when he stands on them.

This deer was looking right at me. He asked me to take his photo, so I did as I was told.

The delicate purple flower, I could not resist. It was so graceful standing there.

The water hugging the tree root, just caught my eye and I had to capture it for my memories.

The three people are my son, his lady friend, and her child.

Of course, this last photo is my brother Al. I took the walk to try to take his mind off of his pain, and it did help for a while.

I just love these walks. It is so peaceful, so close to God. Each time I can see some more proof of God’s beauty

Now we are home and Al is targeted in on his pain, so I am going to surprise him with his bedtime snack and give him some strawberry short-cake with whip cream. This should bring at least a small smile.
