Golden Girls is my number two show I watch

American Idol is where you will find me all winter long

I watch Young and the Restless almost daily, but at least on Fridays

I have to sleep with the fan running and on me 365 days a year and I have a spare, in case one breaks during the winter months and you can’t pay a million dollars to find one

I love going to the zoos, but don’t want any of them critters living inside my home

I always wished I had thick, shiny hair, like the women on the television commercials

Dan is one of my newest friends here at WordPress, and I already love his words and am so proud of him. He has a nice size family, and he is a military man. I have been having many dreams lately. I have some unfinished business I need to take care of and God is using my dreams to push me forward with this.

Today, is the first day of my outings alone.

I am a Yankee Candle obsessed woman, lilac being my favorite scent.

When my father passed away, the only comfort I received for a long time, was my collection of Christmas trees. I had at that point, fifteen through out the house, all sizes.

I have a class reunion coming up August 11, and I am going to go, but am scared to death of my looks. I have changed too much, but I guess so has everyone else.

I tried playing the daily three lottery for the first time, and I won forty dollars.

I have two racoons in my trees in my yard, that I wish would find new homes.

My mind is drawing a blank today. After yesterday’s issues at the cemetery and today, realizing my outing will be put off maybe one more day, and Al’s tears that started first thing this morning, I can not think.

Today, as I was reading my great blogging friends new blogs and responding to comments, I came across this new nomination from Lightningpen.

When I read these blogs I often find myself glued to the words. These are so good and filled with many interesting topics. I want to thank you Lightning for this award.

The workers say my roof will be finished today. I am hoping so.

My brother woke up with a rash on his forearm this morning, so we have doctored it.

I had a dish of watermelon for breakfast.

It is to be in the lower nineties today, so there goes my electric bill!

The house will be silent all weekend as my family will be away, I am missing them already, and soon will tire of the silence.

I have gotten more exercise lately than ever. Maybe I lost a half of an inch around my waist, from picking up so many old shingles, tar papers, and nails and staples from the ground.

Did you know there is a trailer factory not too far away from here that you can clear one thousand dollars a week? No, I am not kidding!

Last night before retiring to my bed, I saw that Blazingtrail had nominated me for this fine award. The name in itself means so much. People think that at one point or another that they read a lovely blog.

I am guilty of not always looking for the small blessings in life, I want to see the big ones. March 6, 2012, was a turning point in my life. I asked God to help me do something in this world that would cause me to bless others, while I remain here at home caring for my brother. I didn’t realize what a beautiful plan the Lord had for me. Not only did he answer my prayer, he has given me many blessings.

As I lay my head on my pillow last night, I took the time to tell God thank-you for his help with my writing. I have made many friends, I have been a comfort to some. I have opened up myself to so many. I have discovered I am worthy of living, and an extra blessing he gives me gives to me are these beautiful awards. It is like the icing on the cake to me.
