The Strangest Summer Ever

I have never been the one who goes on vacation in the summer time. One time I went with a past husband and I ended up getting pregnant. Now that was a vacation that I will never forget, every time I look at my son.

I would love to go somewhere, even for a couple of days but this summer has been the strangest ever. If you cross the state line or if you go into a store; you risk catching the virus. The beaches are open but there are people there. I guess i don’t want to risk getting Corona 19 because I remain home most days.

I see the television ads for places far away and I think, how dreamy that would be and then I start thinking of the money needed to go and the prep work in getting ready to go and by then I am tired.

I imagine my summer trip will be my trip to the Movement Disorder doctor in Indianapolis, which is about three hours from me. I will have a companion with me and most likely get a motel because I have a hard time getting around in the mornings and I would have to leave here by around six-thirty and I don’t do well with that.

I have a porch where I live but the humidity has kept me from sitting on my porch chairs most days. The good thing is, next week we are to be in the seventies. Wow! What great temperatures. I will try sitting out throughout this period.

I will be soon repeating my care giving skills as my friend who had the surgery a couple of weeks ago and for whom I cared for, is having another surgery on the opposite arm. I am okay with it. I like caring for others and I am mentally prepared to as what my duties will be as this is a repeat of the first surgery.

Tomorrow I am going to be able to get out of the house for a while. I am going to be a passenger and get to go two a few places out of town. I will be able to enjoy the ride and probably take a few photos.

Can you believe July is almost over? Our weather has been more like August so I wonder what our next month will be like.

Taking a Break Before I Begin Working

I have been so busy this past week, I don’t know if I am coming or going. I have had meetings with Work One daily. I went in today and did final paper work. Tomorrow I meet the company who is going to be paying me.

Monday I begin. I will be the receptionist assistant and also learn Microsoft top to bottom. I have had unexpected company late yesterday. It threw off my sleep schedule, making me feel worse in tremors today and a bit more tipsy on my gait.

I am going to bed as soon as I finish this post. For anyone who is 55 or older and disabled and would like training and get paid for it, please call your nearest Work One company. They are truly a blessing.

I will be leaving tomorrow at 1pm and returning Sunday afternoon. I will be able to see your comments and respond, but I won’t be able to blog very easily because I will be on my tablet and cell. With my tremors in my fingers I don’t type very well on a small keyboard.

So in final, I want to wish each of you a great weekend. Keep the smiles and hold tight to your faith. I will try to write again Sunday evening.

When I am Bored, This Happens

Can you tell I am bored tonight? No? Well I went through my email spam and discovered that I, Terry, a female was invited to purchase Viagra. LOL

Next, I took photos of my bedroom then sprayed snow on my Christmas tree. Yep, this is the silly things I do when the days darken early, there is a chill in the air, and getting tired of the Christmas movies.

In or Out?

I couldn’t decide whether to stay inside today or get out for a bit. It has been overcast for days. Today it is raining. I looked at my mail and there was a coupon for Arby’s restaurant for a free fry and drink if I ordered a sandwich.

That was enough for me. I got dressed and headed out for lunch and then found a new little shopping center beside Arbys. It was Goodies department store and Tractor Supply along with a restaurant and beauty place. Have you ever been to Goodies? It is nice enough.

Well you know of course I had to take a few camera shots while out, so here they are.

The first photo is some trees standing by a store I was in. You can see the dismal skies. The next one I will call a selfie shot. It is a light shining down on my table at Arbys. So I took the reflection of it on the table in a selfie. The third one is a train that I had to wait on at the tracks.

At this time of year I would owe no apologies to my surroundings inside my house. It is the Christmas season. Our homes are filled with joy, peace and happiness.
