I saw you across the gate

Sitting upon your horse

Erect and full of strength

Lovingly patting him

I saw you across the street

With your best friends

Laughing and frolicking

On a summer day

I saw you for the for the first time

As you are coming to me

I hold my arm out

With pride I will show

The world that                                                              red dress

You are my girl

And when the men stare

They will stop from

The way you look tonight.
