Let’s Do It Starting Today

The air is filled with scents
New life, a new chance
Bright colors
All enhanced.

Put away yesterday
Look at today
Pray for tomorrow
Set time to play.

We all have issues
Some little, some big
We’ll deal with the majors
Small stuff; send to the pigs.

We just don’t have time
For hurt feelings and more
Let’s live for our happiness
And shove the rest out the door.
