Inner Peace Award

inner Peace BadgeSummer has introduced me to this beautiful peaceful award.

Summer is all about love and peace among each other. A very sweet lady, for sure. Please visit her at the link I provided.

In Summer’s words this is her introduction about herself.

Hello there..
Like to share some things with you about me..
I love writing, drawing, dancing, music, spirituality, art, culture, nature.. The whole world! : ) I want to discover the universe with everything she gives us. I love creative people who dare to be, they make themselves particularly to express themselves by their inner in a way that fits with their. It makes the world more beautiful, rather..
Be someone..
‘The earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth.’
I respect anyone who dare to pursue their dreams. I learned: it is not only a wish, it is above all a do.

The hands are there for friendship..

The heart is there for love..

There are no rules actually for this. But how could I not spread this to all I can. Place it on your page and feel the peace when you see it.

I Had To Share With You, My Friends

I just had to show you what I have accomplished! I could not keep the excitement inside of myself and had to share, so picked you, to share it with. I had entered a photography contest, and the photo that won, and is now published. It is this one, pictured of a tree trunk.

The other one, I received the certificate in the mail yesterday, stating that out of 5,000 people, I had won an honorable mention. I did not care if I did not win the big prize, I cared that I was noticed and they let me know.

The poem that won this nice certificate is this.

Dedicated To My Brother

One night as I was sleeping well

I heard a little tinker bell

I looked up at the darkness light

And there was oh so bright a light

I heard the voice say I need you now

It said do listen and then do vow

A man you know that is your brother

Has asked for help from none than other

He fears his life may be in doom

He is waiting for you in the other room

Give up what you think is important today

And help your brother to find his way

He will become dependent and weaker than you

He says he trust no other that only you will do

I tell you child this journey will be hard

Satan has thrown in the joker of all cards

You will achieve your own lessons  this I know

For I have planted tests to see if you will grow

His end of life may come sooner than yours

Just love him today and tomorrow the chores

Show patience and kindness, this way you both win

And I will reward you and throw away your sins.

There is no one better to do this job

It will be like shelling the hard casings on an old corn cob

I have give you this because you said you love me so

I know you won’t fail me, now turn and go

For this is your talent  that I have given to you

I know that you will always do the best you can do

And one day when it’s over, you will look back

And see that your brother had nothing to lack

He loves you, you know with all of his heart

He just has some issues with displaying this part

For I knew when I thought of you and him

That you would be the one who could get him to grin

There is nothing more special than two siblings who share

And I made sure when creation was thought, I’d make you a pair

Now go unto him he is calling your name

Help him to feel special and needed the same

Now open your eyes because this is no game

He is crying and lost and I hear him calling your name

It feels good to have a smile from my own person, as I travel down the path with my brother, battling Parkinson’s Disease.

Mrs. Sparkly’s Ten Commandments Award

What do you see that I do not? I have asked myself this questions at different times, but today, I have asked myself this again. I see a person who cares for her brother, who tends to find herself on here complaining or whining as some term it. I could never turn my brother into strangers care, when I know I would sit home and worry if he had his bath, or did he like his meals today. It isn’t so much the nursing care he would receive, it is that I am a natural worry wart. You should see my body! It is full of these little warts! LOL

I have been very blessed today in receiving awards from my friends. It draws me closer to this community, making me realize I am never truly alone, that I have many who care about Al and me. The emotional support and words I read, can never be expressed in words enough for the way I feel when I read them.

E1aine nominated me for this award.

E1aine lives in England with her husband and three children. She is very talented in jewelry making and loves cooking and poetry also. Feel free to check out her website by highlighting the link above and opening in a new window, or copying and pasting the link.

Thank you so much E1aine for the beautiful award.

The rules to this award are:

Describe yourself in seven words

short, plump, blonde hair, blue eyes, quiet, caring, and compassionate

What keeps you up at night?

too long of nap during the day or my fan not turned on

Whom would you like to be?

more of a spontaneous laughter

What are you wearing now?

a dress and sandals

What scares you?

this never changes, fear of darkness

What are the best and worst things about blogging?

The worst thing is I will probably never meet my special friends, YOU!, and the best thing, is I am able to express things that I can not say to another human face

What was the last website you looked at?

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Learn to say no

Slankets, yes or no?

Tell us something about the person who nominated you.

Oops, I blew this one. I have spoken of her in the above section. She is a terrific lady, and if we lived closer together, I am sure she would be a part of my every day life.

The nominations for this award are:

Don’t forget the other two rules for this award.

Give credit back to the one who nominated you.

Nominate others who you know would enjoy this beautiful award.

Thank you again E1aine!
