Nervous, Jittery is What I Feel Now

I feel fidgety

I feel my heart racing

My gut instinct

Is in fast mode

Is he dying

Here in front of me

Is this the moment

What should I do

What can I do

He and I just talked

About bright lights

And heaven’s door

Sitting in his

Recliner tremoring

Should I let him rest

I never knew whatM.S.A. logo

Feeling alone

Was until now.

Forget my signature on this. Who cares……….You all know I wrote this just now with pain

  1. ♥♥♥ Do exactly what you’re doing now; hold his hands and keep telling him you love him, and that although his body was defeated by these terrible diseases, God will one day wipe them all away and he’ll be there to see it happen.

  2. I agree with Kadeen. Do what you are doing, talk to him as you need to. Let him know you are there for him. That you will hold his hand. Let him know that you will pass him over to your mum when he is ready. I wish there was some other way I could help. Something I could say that would help. I’m sorry, Terry

      • I lost my brother last August to a motorcycle accident. I didn’t get to say goodbye, didn’t get to tell him I loved him, and have ached to have one more day to tell him that he was one of the most important people in my life. Your words moved me and were so powerful. He is lucky to have someone like you in his life and I am sure he’ll find ways to show you how much your love means to him always. Brothers don’t give up without a good fight.

      • Oh Crysta, I am so sorry you did not get the opportunity to tell your brother how much you love him, but I believe and some don’t, but I do that he is watching over you and he knows your love for him. Giant hugs from someone who cares, me………….

  3. To reach the end … together with somebody we love is tough – but its all we can do – be there and give comfort, care and love … not easy I know – but there will always be the time, when we have to let go … and that time is hard to handle. You’re in my thoughts.

      • Terry, I think at times that it’s better not to understand everything – because trying to get our heads round things that we have no influance over what so ever, can drive us mental and cause so much more anxiety than we already have in situations like this. I had it so much eaiser than you – because it went so fast and with no suffering as such.
