I’m Tired

I’m tired

For the first

Time I want to

Give up to give in

To fight no more

I feel powerless

I feel like God

Isn’t listening

Nor does he

Care anymore

I don’t hear or

Feel any presence

Is this what is to

Happen, you want my soul?

The system is

Against a peon

Like me who

Only has emotions

And words but no

Way around it

I am tired

And I feel

Like I am drowning

Do what you want

With me for I

Am too fired to fight

English: Sunset at Ocean Beach in San Francisc...

I am a snail

Crawling around

On the rocks

Waiting for the

Sea to suck me in

  1. Remember, even a snail moves faster than some.
Remember, even a snail has a good time to come
Remember, even a snail can cheer people who are glum
Remember, even a snail can sing a tune or hum

  2. Terry, I understand you are tired and totally exhausted. You fight all the wars on your own … not fair.
You know my view on God and the more I read about what you have to go through nearly every day …
I’m truly worried about you, Terry and this with Al moving back home … your burden is going to be heavier. I know it’s what you both want, but please don’t forget Terry’s needs in all this.

  3. sorry is not a big enough word for how i feel about what is happening with you. maybe this is what you need to for now. just let go and leave it up to God. sometimes we get in the way of what he wants thinking we know best.

you are in my heart and sending you big warm hug

  4. When we are exhausted, physically and emotionally, it is so much harder to see things in perspective. Don’t despair, Terry. God is with you whether you see the manifestation of it or not. Just like we know the sun in there even when the dark clouds hide all evidence of it and the rain is falling hard. The sun has never left–we simply can’t see it with our natural eyes. We know it by faith and by past experience. What you need right now is physical rest. Sleep is healing.

  5. Don’t Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low, and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit….

Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems afar.

So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit….

It’s when things go wrong that you musn’t quit.

  6. I can truly empathize with your tiredness…for a totally different reason…I don’t have to take into consideration anyone else as you do. And if I had to deal with all the complexities feeling as I do now … I’m certain that I wouldn’t know how to do it… And yet often strength comes when we don’t know the hows …only that it has to be by the grace of God if/when it does…Take care of yourself… Diane

  7. Always remember that God is always on your side, the enemy knows your weaknesses and feasts on them. He torments your mind and poisons your thoughts. He makes you doubt and you can’t let him win! Pray and stay strong my friend, it’s a hard life. Know that God loves you more than you’ll ever know.
