Poetry Contest

baby pailHere is another poetry contest I am entering. I am supposed to write a poem about the baby or what babies get into.

Feb3-10th

I see you looking at me

With that cute little face

The innocence of a babe

Is the best among human race.

No worries or nothing bad

No hurting words you’ve ever heard

Exploring is the name of the game

You’re as beautiful as a hummingbird.

You bring joy to mamma’s face

And I love the way you smell

I love you  my baby boy

Sitting in the big red  pail.

I will cherish the way you look

As I know you’ll grow too fast

When you are grown into a man

We’ll look at those photos past.
