We each have many types of love relationships — parents,
children, spouses, friends. And they’re not always with people; you may
love an animal, or a place. Is there a single idea or definition that
runs through all the varieties of “love”?

Love is a feeling

A flutter

A pitter patter

That you feel

Deep inside

Your heart

And soul

Love makes

You smile

Your tears fall

Your heart melts

Love means

Never wanting

To part, be

Separated

From the idea

Of what draws

You close to

The name

When you hear it

Or touch it

When you wrap

Your arms around it

This is love

That you never

Want to disappear
